Our clinic is dedicated exclusively to caring for the traveler. We provide comprehensive assessments prior to departure which includes medical advice, written brochures and teaching materials as well as the appropriate immunizations and prescriptions to lessen one’s risk of illness while away. We are an approved Yellow Fever Vaccination Center with the Public Health Agency of Canada. We are a community resource regarding travel health issues and we provide consultation services to several international organizations. We also address groups prior to departure for medical briefings and regularly teach on travel health to the local medical community. For those who do become ill while abroad or upon return, our training and experience in tropical medicine allows us to provide the necessary assessments, investigations and treatment.
Please note that neither your pre-travel visit nor travel-related vaccines are covered by OHIP. However, many private insurance plans will cover the cost of the immunizations. Receipts will be issued for all uninsured services. Payment must be made at the time of the visit. Accepted methods of payment are Cash, Visa, MasterCard or Debit. Post-travel assessments as well as routine immunizations are covered by OHIP.
